Full Description
Discover the breathtaking beauty of South Morocco on this 5-day desert journey that begins in Marrakech and ends in Fes. Experience camel trekking, luxury desert camps, and Berber culture as you traverse the Atlas Mountains and explore the Sahara Desert.
Day 1: Departure from Marrakech via the High Atlas Mountains and Tizi n'Tichka pass. Visit the famous Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO site and filming location for many Hollywood movies.
Day 2: Visit Kasbah Amridil in Skoura, drive through the Valley of Roses and Dades Valley. Explore the dramatic Todra Gorges, famous for its rock formations and palm groves.
Day 3: Visit the village of Khamlia for Gnawa music, explore the desert landscapes, visit nomadic Berber families, and enjoy camel trek into Erg Chebbi dunes for sunset.
Days 4-5: Early sunrise over the dunes, then drive via Erfoud and Errachidia with panoramic views of the Ziz Valley. Stop at cedar forest of Azrou to see wild Barbary monkeys, visit Ifrane, and conclude with a full-day guided tour of Fes.
